April News for 2011

Hello Everyone, It has been a long winter, and I for one am ready for the season to begin! There are some events coming up for 2011 that I'd like to talk about. So let's get started with the banquet. The Northern Route MX Series banquet will be held this coming Saturday 4-16-11. The banquet will be held at the Lac Vieux Desert Resort and Casino in Watersmeet, MI. Rooms are $44.99 plus tax. The banquet will feature a buffet style dinner at 6pm with awards to start at approximately 7pm. If you would like to skip dinner and go to the awards only, there will be a separate fee. Come up for some fun and great prizes and help reward our riders for their accomplishments from the 2010 season! Next up is our open riding schedule. We anticipated being open April 16th & 17th. The weather unfortunately has not cooperated with us and has forced us to push our first practice weekend to April 30th and May 1st. We have also added a "special" rider weekend courtesy of Pine Ridge. The weekend of July 4th, there will be FREE camping, a bonfire, and burger/brats for all to enjoy! Please check this blog periodically for special events. If your looking to hone your Motocross skills, who better to learn from than a 2 time Arenacross Champion. Chad Johnson will be holding 2 schools at Pine Ridge this season. More details will follow soon! Make sure to take advantage of this great opportunity. Join us Memorial Weekend for what is always an awesome event. Come watch some of the fastest riders in the Midwest battle it out for some cold hard cash!
